Pace pitches Blazers past Henderson County

Josh Pace tossed a two-hitter and host University Heights Academy defeated Henderson County 6-0 Thursday in a high school baseball game.

Number 24-ranked UHA jumped out to a 3-0 advantage after two innings and that would be all the run production Pace would need. The junior struck out 10 and only walked two.

The Blazers padded their lead to 5-0 after five and pushed across another run in the sixth against the Colonels.

Aiden Jones and Courtland Gibson led the Blazers at the plate with two hits each.

UHA won for the fifth straight time and improved to 11-5 on the season. The Blazers return to action today at home against the No. 6-ranked South Warren at 6 p.m.
