The Christian County Lady Colonels traveled to Elkton to take on Todd County Central in a high school softball game on Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Colonels came away with an 18-6 victory to improve to 7-3 on the season. It was the second straight victory and third in four outings for the Lady Colonels.
The win also ended a five-game winning streak by the Lady Rebels, who slipped to 5-2 on the season.
Christian County was scheduled to play Caldwell County tonight, but the Lady Tigers are playing in the Region 2 All “A” Tournament semifinals, so the game was canceled. The Lady Colonels are scheduled to play at Owensboro Apollo on Saturday afternoon.
