Christian County swept two baseball games Saturday in Owensboro. The Colonels defeated Owensboro 6-2 and Barren County, 7-2 to improve to 3-2 on the season.
In the first game against Owensboro, the Colonels scored all six of their runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Preston Stokes led the Christian County offensive attack with three hits.
In the second game of the day, Christian County had 11 hits and powered past Barren County 7-2.
Aiden Lewis picked up the pitching win, striking out eight and allowing only three hits over six innings.
The Colonels return to action today against Fort Campbell at 5:30 p.m. at Colonel Field.
