The Christian County Colonels opened up the 2025 high school baseball season with a 10-0 five-inning win over District 8 opponent Fort Campbell Monday afternoon at Colonel Field.
Aiden Lewis drove in four runs with a pair of doubles to lead the Colonels.
After a scoreless first inning, Christian County plated three runs in the bottom of the second, followed by five in the third and two in the fourth.
The Colonels had seven hits while Drew Fincham and Nolan Young combined to toss a no-hitter. Fincham picked up the win, striking out seven.
Eddie Davis and Thad Tolliver each had a double for the Colonels, who return to action today at No. 19-ranked McCracken County.
