Former Christian County High School girls’ basketball coach Don Dillard was inducted into the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches Court of Honor on Friday at the girls’ Sweet 16 State Basketball Tournament.
Dillard coached the Lady Colonels to three Region 2 championships and two appearances in the Sweet 16 semifinals in 11 seasons. He finished with a 240-72 record during his time at CCHS.
In addition, the Lady Colonels’ Ne’Vaeh Day was honored for being the Region 2 Player of the Year at the Lion’s Eye Kentucky Miss Basketball Ceremony in Lexington. Day is among 16 players being considered for the 2025 Kentucky Miss Basketball Award.
