Campanile Productions has taken back over the historic Alhambra Theatre, as they play host to their showing of “9 to 5: The Musical” from now through Sunday.
The show is based off of the comedy movie of the same name that follows the antics of three women working in an office with a sexist boss, as they plan to take their revenge. Campanile Jeff Riggs says people can expect a lot of humor from this show, but also a lot of reflection as we think on how far things have come for women in the workforce, and how we might still improve.
He warns that this show might not be the best for young kids, as it’s rated PG-13, but it will be a tremendous act with many moving parts.
The show officially got underway Wednesday night with “pay-what-you-can” night, but it will continue with an evening show on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, followed by a matinee show on Sunday.
Tickets can be purchased online at campanileproductions.com or at the door, and cost between $25 and $20 for adults and between $20 and $15 for children.
