Man flown to Nashville after semi overturns

A Georgia man was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment after the semi-truck he was driving overturned on McFarland Creek Road in Christian County Monday night.

According the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, the tractor-trailer driven by 62-year-old Jean Saintil of Hiram, Georgia was making a left turn out a driveway in the 1500 block of McFarland Road when the trailer ran of the roadway.

That caused the semi to overturn onto the driver’s side and Saintil had to be extricated from the cab.

He was transported to a landing zone by EMS and then flown to Nashville hospital for treatment.
