Kentucky will be the No. 6 seed for this week’s SEC Tournament, which gets underway Wednesday in Nashville, Tenn., at Bridgestone Arena.
The Wildcats defeated Missouri 91-83 on Saturday behind 22 points from Otega Oweh and earned the sixth seed in the tournament.
Auburn (No. 1), Florida (No. 2), Alabama (No. 3), and Tennessee (No. 4) will earn double-byes and not play until Friday.
Kentucky is scheduled to play the winner of the Georgia/Oklahoma game at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Airtime for the game is 7 p.m. on 98.7 Lite FM. If the Wildcats win Thursday’s game, they move on to play Alabama at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Kentucky is 21-10 on the season and finished 10-8 in the SEC.
All of the SEC Tournament games will be aired on 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
