Women’s Summit set for March 20

The Christian County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their annual Women’s Summit, and they have numerous speakers and events planned. 

It will take place March 20 at the Silo Event Center and the festivities get started at 9 a.m. and will go until about 3 p.m., which round-tables, panels, lunch and inspirational information. A Women at Work panel will include testimonies from Royale Marfil, the Public Information Officer for the Hopkinsville Police Department, Walmart Distribution General Manager Krista Forsberg and Autumn Smith, a OBGYN at Jennie Stuart Health.

Round-tables will include information on networking and the benefit of building relationships.

Then, the keynote speaker for the event will be Amy Watson, a longtime, award-winning journalist from Hopkinsville who worked with NewsChannel 5 in Nashville for 18 years as part of their #1 morning show.

Watson, now retired from television broadcast news, has a legacy of trusted news and impactful community connections, earning nine Emmy Awards for her work.
