Lone Star Championship Rodeo comes to Muhlenberg County

The Lone Star Championship Rodeo is rolling into Muhlenberg County for its Cowboys and Dreamers Tour and Rachel Boyd with Lone Star appeared on WHOP Radio on Wednesday to share what they have planned.

Lone Star is based in Crofton and travels across the region providing rodeo entertainment and competitions.

The rodeo is set for March 7 and 8 at the Muhlenberg AG Convention Center and Boyd says both nights will have a whole lot of competitions including, steer wrestling, calf roping, barrel wresting, entertainment from rodeo clown Mighty Mike Wentworth and much more.

Before the rodeo gets underway, Boyd says kiddos will have a chance to come down to the dirt and meet Mighty Mike as well as the cowboys and cowgirls competing.

Boyd says Lone Star has been hosting rodeos in Muhlenberg County for over 30 years. She also encourages those interested in attending to grab those tickets while they are available because the venue has limited seating.

Tickets can be bought in advance at lonestarrodeoco.com and cost $15 for adults and $8 for children before processing fees are applied. Tickets can also be bought at the door on the day of the competition but will cost $20 for adults and $12 for children.

The rodeo is set for 8 p.m. on March 7 and 8 at the Muhlenberg AG Convention Center.
