Two people were injured in a crash in Madisonville on Sunday that also resulted in a home being damaged.
According to the Madisonville Police Department, a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Taylor Copple of Madisonville was headed westbound on East Broadway Street, approaching the intersection of Park Avenue. At the same moment, a vehicle operated by 47-year-old Jennifer Brainard of Madisonville was heading through the intersection, heading north on Park Avenue.
That’s when Copple reportedly failed to stop, striking Brainard’s vehicle.
The force of the collision sent Brainard’s vehicle into the side of a house in the 600 block of East Broadway. Both drivers were taken to Baptist Health-Deaconess Madisonville for treatment of minor injuries.
