An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a 15-year-old in Clarksville earlier this month.
Investigation began on February 2 after 15-year-old Ikehliayon Hite of Clarksville was found with a gunshot wound from a shooting that reportedly occurred on Peachers Mill Road at Chum’s Discount Tobacco Store.
Hite was transported to Tennova Healthcare and would later succumb to his injuries.
Clarksville police identified 21-year-old Jay Von Farley was a person of interest in the investigation and he has now been charged with criminal homicide in connection with Hite’s death.
He is lodged in the Montgomery County Jail—additional arrests are anticipated in the case.
