Todd County Superintendent Mark Thomas to retire from position

Todd County Public Schools Superintendent Mark Thomas is set to retire after serving around five years in the position.

The Todd County Board of Education accepted Thomas’ retirement at their Thursday meeting. In his resignation letter, Thomas thanked the board for allowing him to serve as superintendent. He also thanked county educators for their dedication to students and the community for embracing him and his family.

Thomas is set to retire on June 30, 2025, following the end of the school year, and will also assist in the superintendent transition process. He concluded his letter by saying that he is excited about the progress and growth that the school district will make.
