Atmos Energy is looking to ‘share the warmth’ across their service region and has made a $1.5 million donation to help out those in need.
According to a news release, the finding will help customers pay utility bills and settle past due debts, deposits and service charges, and is in partnership with non-profit organizations in their eight-state service region.
In Kentucky, Atmos will provide donations totaling $125,000 to Pennyrile Allied Community Services in the Hopkinsville-Madisonville area, Audubon Area Community Services and Owensboro Help Office, West Kentucky Allied Services, Community Action of Southern Kentucky and the Salvation Army across other services areas.
