Murray man facing assault charges in road-rage incident

A Murray man is facing assault charges after a road rage incident on North 12th Street in Murray on Friday.

According to a news release from the Murray Police Department, officers responded to a two-vehicle crash where there were no injuries reported, but two individuals involved in the crash began to have a physical altercation. Upon arrival, they located the two individuals on the ground below the bridge.

Investigation determined that 43-year-old Barrett Glastetter of Murray had started a fight with the other driver and tried to push him over the edge. That other driver held on to Glastetter in an attempt to keep from falling, but instead, both of them fell over the edge of the bridge.

Both were transported to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Glastetter was later arrested and charged with second-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment.
