The Bardstown Tigers used a 40-28 second half to defeat the Hopkinsville Tigers 66 to 58 Saturday night in The Farmer’s Bank and Trust Tip-off Classic at Muhlenberg Co. High School in Greenville. The Tigers had a four-point lead at halftime 30 to 26.
Miles Stone of Bardstown led all scorers with 21 points off the bench for the Tigers. Hopkinsville was led in scoring by Layton Giltner who had 19, James Bradley was the only other Tiger in double figures 14.
Hopkinsville is now 1 and 2 on the season and return to action Tuesday night at Muhlenberg Co.
