The Hopkinsville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau is joining on the holiday fun, bringing a Shop Local event on Saturday, along with a Hopkinsville themed advent calendar.
According to a news release, Visit Hopkinsville will kick off the holiday shopping season with a shop local event on Saturday at the Visitor’s Center on East Ninth Street from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., alongside the numerous events happening across Hopkinsville and Christian County.
And new this year, they’ll have limited-edition advent boxes available with a Hopkinsville flair! There are only 20 boxes available for $55, and the 12-day advent boxes contain items and goodies from local favorites including Milkweed Health and Harmony Emporium, Ferrell’s, several local distilleries and brewery, agriculture items and more.
Executive Director Amy Rogers says, “By shopping local, you’re not just buying a gift; you’re investing in the future of our community. Your support helps local businesses thrive and contributes to a stronger local economy. At the end of the day, it’s about supporting our community and businesses within it. Visit Hopkinsville is committed to going above and beyond to ensure we do our part to help sustain local businesses and drive economic growth.”
