Crofton woman hurt in Parkway deer-involved crash

A Crofton woman was hurt in a wreck involving a deer on the Pennyrile Parkway Monday evening. 

According to the report for the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened near the 15-mile-marker of the Parkway in the southbound lanes around 5:45 p.m. when a deer ran into the roadway in front of a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Delores Barnett of Crofton.

Barnett was unable to avoid a collision, causing severe damage to the vehicle. She was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
