Community cuts the ribbon on Hopkinsville Rural King store

In 2022, it was announced that Rural King was planning to open a store in Hopkinsville and after much anticipation a ribbon cutting ceremony was hosted on Friday at the new store.

Rural King Store Manager Jenna Booth says she and her staff have been working for the past three months to get the store up and running and is excited that the doors are finally open.

For those unfamiliar with Rural King, Booth shared that it’s a farm and feed store, that also has house ware items, seasonal clothing, tools, firearms, automotive items and much more.

Hopkinsville is an agricultural community and Booth says they are excited to partner with local farmers and organizations.

The new Rural King store is located at Bradford Square Mall in the building that once housed JCPenney’s. The store is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day of the week.
