Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation has made the decision to push back their Downtown Family Trick-or-Treating event one day due to the threat of rainy weather.
According to a news release, the only thing that changes with the delay is the event will take place on November 1 instead of October 31—everything else stays the same, including the start time of 3:30 p.m. and the “No Scare Square” hosted by the Pennyroyal Center.
Children ages walking to 12-years-old, accompanied by an adult, are invited to spend the afternoon collecting candy and other treats from local non-profits, businesses and organizations.
