The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers saw their season come to a close on Monday night in the quarterfinals of 2nd Region Tournament in Madisonville.
The Lady Tigers lost to the host school Madisonville North-Hopkins 7 to 1. Rebecca Wood scored the lone goal for the Lady Tigers off the assist from Kaylyn Lynch. The Lady Tigers end the season at 13-10-1. The 13 wins is an improvement over the 9-win season last year and just 4 wins two years ago.
Trigg Co. shutout Union Co. 10 to 0 in the other quarterfinal game.
Tuesday night University Heights Academy meets Hopkins Co. Central at 5:30pm followed by Henderson Co. taking on Lyon Co. at 7:15pm in Madisonville.
