Clayton Lester had the hat trick for the University Heights Academy Blazers in their 5 to 0 win over Caldwell Co. Monday night in the quarterfinals of the Boys’ 2nd tournament in Madisonville.
Lester opened the scoring for the Blazers followed by a goal from Griffin McCoy off an assist from Logan Miller. Laster scored his 2nd goal off a pass from Hayden Hunt. Hunt scored the Blazers 4th goal of the night unassisted. Lester completed his hat trick just 90 seconds into the 2nd half off a pass from Lincoln Hauret.
Eli Finch made one save to earn the sutout.
The Blazers will play Webster Co. in the semi-finals Tuesday night at 7:15pm at the Stadium of Champions.
