Bestway Ag. is lending its hand to North Carolina to supply disaster relief assistance after the effects of Hurricane Helene.

Hopkinville’s own Bestway Ag. currently has a team of drones and pilots working around the clock in North Carolina to support search and rescue missions, and provide supply drops to heavily affected areas.

Danny Vowell with Bestway Ag says their pilots were able to locate over 100 individuals stranded in the storm’s aftermath. He says the Bestway drones are uniquely suited for rescue operations because of the drones’ sensors and cameras, as well as its ability to provide audio to stranded individuals.

Vowell bragged on the skill and knowledge the Bestway Ag pilots have and says it was simply the right thing to do during this time of great need.

He goes on to thank the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for granting emergency registration to the drones to add to the relief assistant that so many are supplying to North Carolina.

If you are interested in donating to the effort you can go to the Bestway Ag Hopkinsville Facebook page to learn more about it.

Bestway Ag has been serving the Hopkinsville area for years and recently broke into the drone sector of modern agriculture. The Bestway Ag company is designed to cater to the needs of the community, specializing in lawn or liquid handling equipment.
