Goode moves up in Kentucky Farm Bureau Outstanding Youth Contest

Christian County will have representation at the Kentucky Farm Bureau Outstanding Youth Contest in December, as Mollie Goode advanced in the competition on Tuesday.

The District 2 Farm Bureau Outstanding Youth and Variety Show contest was held Tuesday night in Madisonville, and was well-represented by Christian County, with Adalyn Isom performing and placing second.

In the Outstanding Youth portion, Goode and Brant Cansler presented two-minute speeches and fielded questions during personal interviews.

Goode—who attends Hopkinsville High School and is also working as an Agriculture Reporter for WHOP Radio—was chosen to advance to the state competition that will be held in Louisville in December as the Outstanding Female winner for District 2.

The purpose of the Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth Contest is to promote youth involvement in county Farm Bureau activities and to recognize leadership, achievements and awards in their schools and communities
