The All “A” Classic State Soccer Tournament resumes this weekend in Louisville.
In the girls’ bracket, University Heights Academy will take on Sayre at 8:30 a.m. local time Saturday at Louisville Assumption High School. The winner of that game will face either Bishop Brossart or Hazard at 5 p.m. local time Saturday in the semifinal round.
Todd County Central, the Region 4 champion, will play Brown at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Collegiate. The winner of their game will play either Bethlehem or Martin County at 6 p.m. Saturday at Assumption.
The championship is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday at Collegiate.
Meanwhile, in the boys’ tournament, University Heights Academy will meet Prestonsburg at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Assumption. The winner will take on either Todd County Central or Oneida Baptist, who meet at 2 p.m. Saturday at Collegiate in the semifinal round. The boys’ semifinals are scheduled for 7 p.m. at Assumption.
Todd County Central, the Region 4 champion, is coached by Mike Smith, who formerly coached at UHA.
The boys’ championship game is scheduled for noon on Sunday.
