Madionsville police charge man with sex crimes following investigation

The Madisonville Police Department has charged a man with multiple sex crimes following an investigation into sexual offenses involving a 14-year-old victim. 

According to the police report, investigation into the alleged offenses against the victim by Bryan Clark began on August 19 and during that investigation, officers determined that Clark is a registered sex offender and was in a position of ‘special trust’ over the victim.  Clark reportedly touched the victim inappropriately and offered to pay the teenager for nude photos.

A search of Clark’s residence reportedly revealed electronic devices that contained nude photos of the victim, along with a video of Clark allegedly placing a cellphone camera in an air vent above the shower in a bathroom of the home. He also reportedly sent obscene photos of himself to the victim.

Clark was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual abuse, possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor, procure or promoting use of a minor, promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sex performance and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
