Indictments returned for rape, sexual abuse, wanton endangerment

A Christian County Grand Jury has returned numerous indictments, including for rape, wanton endangerment, sexual abuse and more.

Indicted on three counts of third-degree rape is 39-year-old John Talbert of Hopkinsville, who is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old female victim in May of this year.

Indicted for six counts of first-degree sexual abuse against a victim under the age of 12 is 80-year-old Charles Hall of Tennessee, who reportedly—between January of 2015 and December of 2016—sexually abused two children under the age of twelve in Christian County.

Forty-eight-year-old Remon Irving of Winchester, Kentucky was indicted on five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, using restricted ammunition during commission of a felony, first-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and several traffic violations. As previously reported, Irving was reportedly the driver of a motorcycle that was part of a pursuit that began in Oak Grove and ended in a crash in Hopkinsville.

Indicted for three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment is 67-year-old Thomas Quick of Hopkinsville, who is accused of wantonly engaging in conduct on June 14 of this year, that created a substantial risk of death or serious injury to a police officer.
