University Heights Academy senior golfer Conlee Lindsey participated Monday in the prestigious South Warren Lady Spartan Invitational at the Park Mammoth Golf Course in Park City.
Lindsey battled warm temperatures and a challenging field, but finished with a 9-over par 79 to finish in a fourteenth place tie.
Madison Glisson, of Ballard Memorial, won the event with a 1-under 69.
Adelynn Moorman, of Breckinridge County, took second with a 1 over par 71.
Lindsey and her UHA teammates, along with Hopkinsville and Christian County, were scheduled to play today at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational, but the event was postponed until Aug. 6 due to extreme heat indexes.
