Man pulled from house fire in Clarksville

A teenager is receiving medical care after being found unconscious in a house fire on Creek Drive in Clarksville Sunday afternoon. 

According to Clarksville Fire Rescue, units from four stations responded to the 200 block of Creekside Drive for reports of a house fire around 6:30 p.m. and upon arrival, found heavy smoke and fire coming from the structure.

Firefighters pulled an unconscious 18-year-old male from the home—CPR was performed on the scene and a pulse was restored to the victim.  He was the only occupant of the home at the time of the blaze.

A firefighter also sustained minor injuries while working the scene.

The victim was transported to Tennova Health for treatment. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
