Season tickets are on sale for the Alhambra Theatre’s 2024-2025 season shows and Margaret Prim, the Executive Director of the Pennyroyal Arts Council, appeared on WHOP to share what they have in store for the community.
The new season started in July and Prim says six shows are coming to the Alhambra Theatre.
In September, Prim says tribute band, To the Limit: The Ultimate Eagles Experience will be performing timeless rock songs by the Eagles. Then in December, Sons of Serendip is set to host a holiday show where they will put modern twists on some classical music.
To kick off 2025, Prim says they will host an afternoon show on Martin Luther King Jr. Day featuring the Fisk Jubliee Singers, an African-American a cappella ensemble founded at Fisk University in Nashville in 1871.
Prim says the season will also include a special Valentine’s Day show featuring Shadows of the 60s a Motown tribute band. Later in the season, for country music lovers, Jason Coleman, the grandson of pianist Floyd Cramer, and Meagan Taylor, the grand-niece of guitarist Chet Atkins will put on a show.
Then in May 2025, the So Good! Neil Diamond Experience Starring Robert Neary will be coming to Hopkinsville. Prim says they have a solid season and those who purchase season tickets will have their own seat for each show and will have their tickets printed for them while supporting the theatre.
Prim says they are also offering an option for their younger audience where they can attend three shows and get tickets 50% off.
