The 2024 Squealin’ on the Square was held last Saturday, and the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department has declared the winners of the BBQ competition.
Roughly 1,500 people attended the annual event, which led into the first Sounds at Six event of the summer. There were six participating teams in all three categories.
In the pork chops category, the winners were BBQ on Wheels—in the ribs category, the top prize went to Knuckles BBQ and New Work Fellowship was the winner in the chicken competition. The Mayor’s Award went to the Hopkinsville Fire Department.
