The Jennie Stuart Health Foundation has been awarded a $13,500 grant from the 100 Women Who Care Hopkinsville organization.
According to a news release, 100 Women Who Care Hopkinsville are a local chapter of an international group that invites women to engage with their communities and benefit local nonprofits. The group meets quarterly to select a local charity to support, with members each contributing to the chosen cause.
The money will impact patient care at the newly renovation and expanded E.C. Green Cancer Center, which has been designed with the needs of every patient in mind, including semi-private and private infusion spaces, integrated lab and pharmacy services, and the most precise, efficient equipment available today.
Foundation Executive Director Tracey Clark says, “All contributions received from 100 Women Who Care Hopkinsville will help provide one of the semi-private infusion/treatment bays in the new center. Not only will each patient greatly benefit, but these enhanced spaces will also provide comfort for the patient’s accompanying caregiver through the long hours of chemotherapy. We are so appreciative of your support of our efforts.”
