Summer Salute is Hopkinsville’s biggest annual festival hosted by Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation who announced that one of their headlining music acts will be platinum-selling country band Parmalee.
Parmalee is a four-member band from North Carolina composed of brothers, Matt and Scott Thomas, their cousin Barry Knox and childhood friend Josh McSwain that formed in 2001. The band will perform their most popular hits such as “Take My Name,” “Just the Way” and “Girl In Mine.”
Parmalee will take to the Christian County Justice Center Stage on August 24, the second day of the festival. Parks and Recreation also announced that the Jimmy Church Band will be returning as the main act on August 23, the first day of the festival.
