Kaleigh Stout resigns as Hopkinsville Cheer Head Coach

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (March 20, 2024). Hopkinsville High School Athletic Director Blake Leach, has
announced Kaleigh Stout has stepped down from her position as head coach of the Tiger cheer team.
Coach Stout has led the Tigers for two years, including the team’s first ever qualifying and appearance in
a national competition this past season.


“It has been a dream come true to lead the HHS Cheer team these last 2 years,” said Coach Stout. ”I am
so proud of the girls and what we have been able to accomplish together. At this time, I am needing to
step back and focus on my family and my career. I have full faith that this team will continue to grow on
what we have built. I look forward to seeing what the future of HHS Cheer holds.

“We wish Coach Kaleigh the best of luck as she steps back to take care of her family,” said AD Leach.
“The past two years with her as coach for HHS Cheer has been nothing but remarkable. What they have
been able to achieve is a tribute to her coaching ability and hard work.”

Hopkinsville High School will begin the search for a new head coach to lead the cheer program in the
coming weeks.
