Two injured in North Main Street collision

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on North Main Street in Hopkinsville Monday morning.

According to the Hopkinsville Police Department, a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Ines Belanger of Clarksville was heading south on North Main Street in the right lane when she attempted to make a left turn onto Means Avenue.  That’s when she reportedly pulled into the path of a vehicle operated by 65-year-old Patrick Willis of Hopkinsville, who was also traveling south on North Main, but in the left lane.

The two collided. Both Belanger and an 11-year-old passenger were taken by ambulance Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.
