Two arrested following search of Crofton residence

Two Crofton residents are facing charges following a search of a home on Dawson Road Sunday night.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a residence in the 16000 block of Dawson Road in an attempt to locate a subject with warrants. While doing an initial sweep of the house, deputies reportedly observed narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain view.

Upon obtaining a search warrant, methamphetamine was located in a bedroom of the home, along with drug paraphernalia throughout the home. The amount of meth was reportedly consistent with trafficking and not personal use.

Deputies also located 62-year-old Donnie Thomas, who was arrested on several active warrants. Thirty-one-year-old Dustin Thomas was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
