A Hopkinsville man is facing a charge of second-degree burglary following investigation into a disturbance on Jan Drive Monday.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to an active disturbance where 45-year-old Kenneth Thornton of Hopkinsville had allegedly made his way into the residence without the victim’s permission, banging on the doors.
Thornton allegedly took a wifi modem box before leaving the residence and smashed it in the driveway—he also allegedly took the victim’s keys before fleeing the scene.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
