A teenager was injured in a crash on Terry Coal Road on Sunday morning and the Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
According to the collision report, the 16-year-old driver was heading south bound on Terry Cole Road near the intersection with Poole Mill Road when they failed to navigate a right turn. The vehicle went off the roadway and through a barbed wire fence, traveling through a field before striking a tree.
The driver was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Alcohol is consider a factor in the crash, as listed on the report.
