Logan Co. Grand Jury returns indictments for sexual abuse, assault, wanton endangerment

A Logan County Grand Jury has returned numerous indictments, including for sex related offenses, assault and wanton endangerment. 

According to a news release from Logan and Todd County Commonwealth’s Attorney Neil Kerr, the Logan County Grand Jury met on December 15 and returned an indictment for two counts of first-degree sexual abuse victim under 12 years of age against a vulnerable victim in a continuing course of conduct, first-degree sodomy, second-degree sodomy, attempted first-degree rape, second-degree attempted rape, victim under 12 years old against Gelin Omar Guevara.

Indicted for second-degree assault of a police officer, first-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest is Rafael Antonio Cruz.

Joshua Allan Fiese was indicted for six counts of second-degree cruelty to animals and retaliating against a participant in the legal process. 

The grand jury indicted William Abbot for fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, leaving the scene of accident with failure to render air or assistance, reckless driving, felony receiving stolen property and no operator’s license. Israel Smith was indicted for four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, driving on a revoked or suspended operator’s license and numerous other traffic violations
