Two individuals currently lodged in the Kentucky State Penitentiary have been served with Lyon County indictments for attempted murder.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, deputies served 37-year-old John T. Maggard of McRoberts with a Lyon Circuit Court indictment warrant for criminal attempt to commit murder, complicity to first-degree promoting contraband and persistent felony offender.
Deputies also served two indictment warrants against 39-year-old Orie Spence of Tomahawk for criminal attempt to commit murder, first-degree promoting contraband, complicity to first-degree promoting contraband and two counts of persistent felony offender.
Both suspects were in the Kentucky State Penitentiary and will remain lodged there.
