Three enter pleas in relation to Glass Avenue armed home invasion

Three more defendants charged in connection with the armed home invasion at the Glass Avenue residence of Charles “Bird Dog” Paige have entered guilty pleas to their roles. 

Ajaizion Johnson and Marshall Austin were originally indicted on charges of first-degree robbery, but in Christian Circuit Tuesday afternoon, Johnson entered a guilty plea to amended charges of complicity to second-degree robbery. Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy clarified it comes with a recommended sentence of eight years, and they are dismissing charges of persistent felony offender and fleeing or evading police.

Austin entered a guilty plea to complicity to second-degree robbery, with a recommended sentence of seven years.

Co-defendant Brayden Katz entered a guilty plea to facilitation to second-degree robbery, a misdemeanor, and that come with a recommended 12-month sentence to be probated and restitution in the amount of $736.

Several other co-defendants have already entered pleas in this case, with varying sentences handed down.
