The EF-3 tornado that struck Clarksville has claimed a fourth victim, who passed away Saturday due to complications for injuries sustained in the tornado.
According to Clarksville police, 78-year-old Penny Scroggins of Clarksville succumbed to her injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The brings the death toll from that tornado up to four in Clarksville—the other three victims were identified as 10-year-old Arlan Coty of Clarksville, 34-year-old Stephen Hayes of Clarksville and 59-year-old Donna Allen of Florida.
Recovery efforts continue in Montgomery County and in Todd County, where that tornado went through southern Todd County. Blessedly, no one was injured in Todd County.
