State Representative Walker Thomas, who represents the 8th District—which includes portions of Christian and Trigg Counties and all of Caldwell—has filed his paper work to seek re-election.
Thomas is seeking a fifth term in that office and says he wants to stick with it to try and make Kentucky the best version of itself. He says, as a grandfather of six, he wants to make Kentucky a place that youth want to stay and make a life.
He says while there are some core values that he intends to stick to, he’s willing to work across the lines in other areas, saying he represents all Kentuckians while in Frankfort.
As of Thursday, Thomas is unopposed on the ballot—he filed as a Republican
