A motorcyclist was injured in a single-vehicle crash on East Fourth Street Wednesday morning.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, 58-year-old Michael Shaw of Elkton was operating a motorcycle eastbound on East 4th when he saw a vehicle at the stop sign at Brown Street and thought that vehicle was going to cross.
That vehicle did not cross, but Shaw lost control of his motorcycle.
Shaw was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries to his legs and feet.
