The Festival of Trees is ready to go at the Venue on Main, a new location that will really showcase the 33 decorated trees they have this year.
The Festival of Trees is hosted by the Pennyroyal Center and organizer Zoey Edwards says people will be impressed at the array of trees filling the space located at 801 South Main Street—and people get very creative with their trees.
Edwards says attendees can purchase tickets to be entered into drawings to win one of the trees and take it home—and all money raised goes back into their many programs at the Pennyroyal Center.
Tickets are $1 each. The event is free to attend, with Friday by appointment only from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and then Saturday is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., with raffle drawings to win a tree set to start at 4 p.m.
