The Christian County Baptist Association is gearing up for a momentous occasion—100 years of service and operations in the county, and they’re inviting the community to come celebrate with them.
John Franklin with the Christian County Baptist Association appeared on WHOP recently and says they hope people will join them for a special service this coming Sunday, October 22, at 4 p.m. with food, fellowship, stories and performances.
He says there will be a choir made of singers from several different churches, along with special guest Todd Gray, the Executive Director-Treasurer of the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
Franklin says he’s immensely proud of their association and all of the churches that are a part of it, saying if someone is looking for a church to attend, they have plenty of excellent ones to choose from.
The celebration will take place at First Baptist Church in Hopkinsville—where it all began. For more information on the event or the Christian County Baptist Association, visit them on Facebook at CCBA.
