Discovery transfers continue in Oak Grove shooting case

Co-defendants Tyron Holt charged with complicity to murder and Omega Plaisme charged with murder appeared in Christian Circuit Court on Wednesday for their connection to the 2022 shooting death of Gailon Toler.

It was not until July that the pair were scene as co-defendants when Plaisme was arrested after Holt had already been arraigned in May 2022 and going through pretrial proceedings. Therefore, additional discovery is having to be disseminated between the commonwealth and the pairs defense attorneys.

On Wednesday, Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephanie Bolen says both Holt’s and Plaisme’s defenses still need discovery to include information regarding the co-defendants.

During Holt’s appearance, his defense attorney Jarrod Jackson was told by Bolen that there are two flash drives and 146 pages of discovery he needs before they go to trial.

Plaisme appeared with defense attorney Brandi Jones who was recently appointed to the case, because Plaisme’s prior attorney had a conflict on interest.

However, as Jones was reviewing discovery, she found a possible conflict of interest with someone listed as a witness that she has represented prior. Jones says she obtains and reviews the electronic discovery to confirm if there is a conflict.

Jones says she be able to determine if there is a conflict of interest by November 1 when both Holt and Plaisme are set to reappear in court.
