Robert Torian, the man accused of murder in the fatal shooting death of Terrill Moore in 2019, appeared in Christian Circuit Court on Wednesday to schedule a retrial after the jury for his September trial was unable to come to a unanimous verdict.
Christian Circuit Court Judge, Andrew Self scheduled for Torian’s retiral to start on February 12 and has set three days aside for the trial and jury deliberations.
During Torian’s appearance, his Defense Attorney, Jason Byrd requested a bond reduction for Torian saying that he has been in custody for nearly four years and has family in the county. Self denied the bond modification saying nothing has changed with Torian’s case.
Torian will reappear in court on January 24 for a pretrial conference.
