A Princeton man is facing numerous charges, including for first-degree sexual abuse and attempted rape, following investigation into the assault of a juvenile.
According to the Princeton Police Department, officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of North Seminary Street around 9 p.m. Tuesday night for reports that a sexual assault had occurred. Investigation determined that a male subject had lured a 14-year-old female behind the residence and sexually assaulted her.
Deputies with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office made contact with a suspect, identified as 41-year-old Eddrecus Williams of Princeton, who matched the description given by both the victim and witnesses.
He was arrested and charged with the first-degree attempted rape, first-degree sexual abuse and possession of methamphetamine.
