Aiden King wins Player of the Week

This week’s Jennie Stuart Orthopedic – Michael Venable State Farm Player of the Week is Aiden King.

Aiden is a junior at Hopkinsville High School and is also the starting quarterback for the football team.

This past week the Tigers received their first win of the season beating Calloway Co. 43-0.

In the dominating effort, King threw for 10/16 completions, 215 yards, and 4 touchdowns.

In an interview with WHOP, Aiden talked about his big night.

Aiden has been playing football for about half of his life band mentioned his family and specifically his brother (a former Tiger football player) as his reasons for starting his gridiron journey.

Marc Clark, the head coach of Hoptown shared his thoughts on Aiden’ performance.

With getting their first win of the season after losing their last six, Aiden and the rest of his team are nowhere near satisfied and hope to finish strong for a shot a postseason play.

Following their bye week, the 1-6 Hoptown Tigers will be host Logan Co. at the Stadium of Champions on October 13 at 7:00PM.
